During the birth of my daughter, there was a pivotal moment where I was pushing and held my sister’s hand. I had a sense of my mother and all my grandmothers, stretching back through time and infinity, a feminine network of strength, power and support that fed me the last bit of energy I needed for the final pushes.
In Adorning the Heart of the Mother, we will be connecting with our own lineage of power. In our daily devotional creative practices, we will find support and strength coming through this line, connected all the way back to our ancient ancestors centuries ago who knew the land as the body and the body as the land. This strength will be invited to come through our art and writing, and will serve as a resource for creative expression throughout the duration of our time together.
