I am so inspired by this new mama baby owl series. I am grateful for the support in this time of integration and embodiment of this entirely new aspect of my being, new identity, new body, new life. Through the evolving series I will unfold the details, musings, and healing journey of my unfolding motherhood. This painting was inspired by considering how I have carried a part of Runa my whole life as a tiny egg - how she has been with me always - and how I have lived my life to prepare for bringing her into form - a mutual dance of protection and taking care - treasuring every moment now that she is here, and holding her close to my heart 💖
