New Moon / New Year Reflections

New Moon / New Year Reflections

On this new moon, I plant seeds of intention as I prepare to offer my second round of my course, Intuitive Painting with Watercolors, which begins Monday, January 10. Offering the first incarnation of this course at the end of last year was a highlight of my creative life, the gifts of which continue to unfold. I experience so much joy in seeing the creative spark ignite for fellow beings! I witnessed every person in each class access new levels of creative expression! I found my voice and my truth in a bigger way. I understood that part of what I am “teaching” is the ability to connect with the source of inspiration itself. No matter if it comes through watercolor, song, movement, or any of the expressive arts, when we become a channel for creative flow and energy, wonder, magic and healing are automatically present.

Through experiencing the course material myself as I was offering it, I have experienced an incredible breakthrough in my ability to understand this creative flow. Over the past couple of weeks I have been applying what I shared for painting to creating music, an art that has been more tender and blocked for me in much of my life. I have always been around music, but have felt shy to share my voice. I have begun recording some songs and opening my voice to be a channel in much the same way as the watercolors are for me. It is incredible to see the growth in this application in only a short time! I have also been in deeper connection with movement and my body since participating in my own course, which has been incredibly strengthening and healing!

All this to say, I am very excited for what comes through in this next incarnation of the course. I will be covering some of the same basic, and also I am very open to what wants to be shared for this new group at this new time. If you have been wanting to connect with your creative flow, even if watercolors isn’t your main medium, I still recommend the course. Watercolors are such a beautiful way to connect with the “flow” in general, with water as the main vehicle for the medium. We will be exploring this connection, and I won’t be surprised if the growth that happens will also impact other forms of creative expression, as has happened for me.

I hope you will consider joining me for this next round!
