keep softening

this painting is a celebration of moving through a major rite of passage : of shedding the skins we have known and loved, but no longer need. I painted this painting during the last meeting of my first ever Intuitive Painting session, and it is a collection of all of the lessons that I taught during the course. It incorporates a centering mandala, a connection with a plant (the rose), exploration of the colors of the rainbow, snake medicine, an expression of body centering, and representations of all of the elements through color and form. the snake is slithering out of its skin, allowing it to fall behind. the entire painting is somewhat egg shaped in its container, which symbolizes the inherent creative potential for growing life. 

allow this beautiful snake to inspire you to continue softening, continue connecting with your gut, with the earth, and listen deep. what does your body say? what is your clear dream for your life's work, moving forward? how can you crack through the shell, shimmy out of the skin, and experience life in a truly embodied way? may the magic that I moved into through finally trusting my voice and sharing be a beacon for you to do the same, through the vision of this painting and all of the symbolism that it contains.

8x10 inkjet print is on Aurora Art Natural 250 paper and comes mailed with an eco protective sleeve and mat backing. 

altar prints are printed on 4x6 bright white matte paper and come wrapped in a protective sleeve with thick white backing board.
