Creativity is Honey for Our Hearts!

After teaching my five and six week painting classes for nearly four years, I have decided to create a membership community that is affordable and meets regularly! If you have taken my classes and want to keep exploring, or if you have wanted to join a class but haven't yet, this is a way to join me and dip from the creative well of honey for the heart that is intuitive painting!

Join me for a monthly membership community to weave connection with your inner artist, body and heart! We will meet live on Zoom two times a month on Thursdays, as well as be guided by inspiration emails and an interactive community sharing space on Telegram. I find the collective creative space is so nourishing for my creativity, and my hope is that this space is like a wellspring for your own to flourish and blossom in your life.

Each class will include some inspiration and guidance related to our theme; a somatic centering meditation to go within and connect with the theme and our bodies and hearts; a water blessing; and a guided painting meditation. Sometimes there may be audio accompaniment to the painting time, or I may play my drum or guide with voice or silence. There will be time and space for sharing at the end of each session, to weave our collective wisdom together and to reveal your painting and process if you so desire. The witnessing of the group is a beautiful part of the process, and may or may not feel resonant depending on the day. You are always most welcome to listen to your own truth in this.

Creative Honey for the Heart is a supportive community space to explore a variety of inspiring themes through the medium of watercolor art and other expressive arts. I recommend that you keep a journal for this practice, something that inspires you and that you can work in during class and in your own time throughout the weeks between classes. Over the months you may fill many journals, which has been the truth for me for nearly thirty years!

No previous art experience is required or necessary! We are all artists at heart, and my unique painting process supports the emergence of whatever is ready to flow from you. The energy of the group container does a lot in cultivating creative momentum for all of us, and whatever struggles or wounds you may have had around art and creativity will be held gently here.

Each month we will be exploring different themes that arise seasonally, through our collective, and whatever is inspiring me/us.

Monthly themes may include:

Dream Weaving, The Language of Nectar, Embodied Painting, Creative Devotion, Painting with the Ancient Child, Painting with the Dream Body, Courting the Muse, Inner Reverence, The Heart of the Mother, Nourishment + Nurturing, The Wonder of Watercolor, The Flowering Heart, The Art of Daily Practice, Full and New moon themes, and more.

The membership includes:

*2 monthly live painting circles at ~60 minutes/each on Thursdays (Jupiter day) at 10am PDT/1pm EDT/7pm CEST. Dates for the rest of the year are listed below. All sessions are held live via Zoom. Please note that when times change due to daylight savings, I will follow whatever time is currently present for Pacific Time Zone.

*Access to a private Telegram channel for sharing your art and musings with other members

*Email inspirations 2x/month sent on Mondays (Moon day) following the previous Thursday's session, exploring prompts, practices, contemplations and themes for the weeks ahead

*Complimentary access to The Basics of Intuitive Painting with Watercolors recorded class (52 minutes) if you'd like initial support with beginning watercolor painting

*Access to the Creative Honey for the Heart class recording Library to catch up on previously explored themes in the membership

(Recordings are available if you can't make it live, and will live on Zoom for 30 days, as well as a private video space after that.)

(Please note there are two classes per month, but some months they may be different amounts of weeks apart.)

Materials needed for classes:

• a  journal, preferably with paper that can handle watercolor and other art medium, or loose leaf watercolor paper
• a set of watercolors
• a watercolor brush or two
• a pen or pencil that you enjoy writing with
• other art supplies as desired

(Supplies are not included in class price. Please let me know if you'd like any recommendations for supplies.)
