A Painting Ritual for New Beginnings

Join me for a recorded painting ritual to honor the energy of New Beginnings. This ritual is perfect to honor a new year, a transition into a new phase of life or identity, an intention for change or transformation, and all endings/beginnings in general. 

I will lead us in a water blessing and somatic connection meditation. The meditation will  guide us into a deep painting journey, to see what is ready to be communicated to us through our artistic expression. This process is a wonderful way to connect with the energy of that which we are calling in, and to learn how to recognize this quality of New Beginnings into our somatic felt sense. 

This is a safe and held space through which to connect with and be resourced by the gentle process of art making and somatic awareness. We will move slow and with presence. At one point, I bring in my drum for a few minutes of vibrational support.

No previous art experience is necessary! All you need is some watercolors (or other art materials), paper, a pencil or pen, and a bowl/cup of water for a water blessing and for painting with. The language of color, symbols and the subconscious is so primal and innate; we all have the ability to commune and connect with it.

This recorded ritual is an hour and twelve minutes long. 

You are welcome to create an altar, light a candle, make some tea, and invite the magic in your own way too!
